I have two main things – Firstly his Sac Magique, as I used to call it – that rucksack that he would delve into and pull out the weirdest things (well they seemed weird at first; it was usually juggling balls, modelling balloons, various items of food and waterproof clothing) but after a while I stopped being surprised at anything that came out of there.
- Secondly, the way it would really, really wind him up when I said “less” instead of “fewer”! His legacy to me is that I know perfectly well when to use each of them now, even if I did get it wrong on purpose sometimes just to get a reaction :)
